FormFutura's Galaxy PLA is a deep metallic coloured PLA range - based on our EasyFil PLA compound - with an incredibly high amount of silver aluminium-flakes added. The high added aluminium-flake content gives a beautiful sparkling, reflecting and glittering finish to Galaxy PLA printed objects.Due to the high amount of silver aluminium-flakes added to the Galaxy PLA compound you can 3D print beautiful shimmering objects without visible layers and subtle colour shadings and radiance. Even though its high silver-aluminium-flaked content Galaxy PLA is not abrasive to the nozzle of your 3D printer.
Unique features
Extremely glittering & shimmering surface finish
3D print objects without visible layers
Not abrasive to the nozzle of 3D printers
Incredibly deep coloured 3D printer filament Very easy to print
Warp-free printing and no deformation after cooling
Improved flowing behaviour and inter-layer adhesion
Good first layer adhesion to several (un)heated print surfaces

With Novamid® material for Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), you can produce parts almost indistinguishable from those produced with standard injection molding.
This open source filament material is a pure polyamide 6/ 66, and was originally developed many years ago by our Engineering Plastics experts for demanding specialty applications often subjected to harsh environment and high temperatures (up to 125ºC). Adjusted to 3D-print easily, Novamid® filaments bring a unique combination of properties, including outstanding stiffness and ductility, across a range of applications - from transportation, to sports and electronics. Their optimized crystallization profile improves fusion, enabling parts with excellent inter-layer strength and high surface quality.
Novamid® is well-suited for durable applications requiring good mechanical properties.
Possible applications
Electronics - Bench-top assembly jigs, custom parts specific storage
Transportation
Arnitel® is a highly flexible TPC (thermoplastic co-polyester) that can be used in a broad range of applications from sports mouth guards to electronics. It is a flexible polymer with very good UV- and chemical-resistance compared to other flexible polymers such as TPU (thermoplastic urethane).Â
Arnitel® is an ECO label filament made with 50% bio-based feed-stock. It brings speed to your 3D printing production – it loads onto the machine and prints twice as fast as other TPCs. It combines this easy and fast printing with high performance characteristics enabled by excellent inter-layer adhesion due to its slower crystallization behavior.
Possible applications
Automotive, Aerospace, Railway, Motorsports – e.g. lighting frames, tubes, wipers
Flexible tools and electronics
Healthcare – such as prosthetics, bruxism splints
Sports & Lifestyles – e.g. shoe midsoles, mouth guards, shin guards, glasses, earbuds, smart watches, jewelry
Arnite® also gives you good fusion & inter-layer strength with great surface qualities. Parts can be coated or painted easily, and can withstand weathering and moisture well. Best of all, Arnite® doesn’t just boost your manufacturing performance. It’s also kind to the planet, thanks to its easy recyclability.
Possible applications
Transportation - lighting frames, brake booster body valves, wipers
Electronics - white good connectors, fog lamp housings
Storage and conditioning for all three DSM filament types
ID grades are supplied in airtight, moisture-proof packaging at a moisture level <0.05 w%.
In order to prevent moisture pick up and contamination, supplied packaging should be kept closed and undamaged. For the same reason, partially used bags should be sealed before re-storage. Allow the material that has been stored elsewhere to adapt to the temperature in the processing room while keeping the bag closed. To prevent moisture condensing on filaments, bring cold filaments up to ambient temperature in the print shop while keeping the packaging closed.
In case the filament has become wet, it should be dried. Using a hot air oven at 80°C for at least 4 hours is recommended. When storing the filament after printing, it is advised to seal the bag and add silica gel to the bag to keep the filament as dry as possible.
