This spring can be used to reduce pressure on softer materials like TPU and FLEX (also for some softer PVA’s). This prevents deforming before entering the nozzle-tube. It will also reduce grip and therefore slower printing speeds are needed with the use of these softer springs. You can simply replace the original spring with the softer spring and change back later if you need more grip on harder filaments
