​This Promotional Price Protection Policy explains BuildVolume's procedures for handling price differences arising when products purchased by customers are subsequently offered at reduced prices during promotional campaigns, special offers or other price adjustments.

BuildVolume recognises that customers may purchase products shortly before a promotional price reduction takes effect. To promote fairness and customer satisfaction, BuildVolume offers a discretionary 72-hour promotional price protection programme, under which qualifying customers may be considered for partial compensation in the form of BuildVolume store credit.

Promotional prices apply only during their advertised validity periods, and previous purchases do not automatically qualify for retrospective price adjustments, refunds or compensation. Any goodwill credit offered under this policy is subject to the applicable eligibility requirements, limitations and management approval.

 

This policy operates in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA") and other applicable South African legislation. Mandatory consumer rights take precedence over any inconsistent provision of this policy.

Returns & Refunds Policy explains BuildVolume's procedures relating to cancellations, cooling-off rights, returns, repairs, replacements, warranty claims and refunds.

1. WHOM THIS POLICY APPLIES TO
 

This Policy applies to products sold by the applicable BuildVolume contracting entity.

"BuildVolume" is a trading name used by more than one South African company.

The BuildVolume Online Store may display stock belonging to or available from linked BuildVolume companies.

The applicable seller for your transaction will be identified by the selected store/location and/or on your quotation, sales order, order confirmation or tax invoice.
 

2. HOW IT WORKS
 

If you purchased a qualifying 3D printer from BuildVolume within 72 hours before the start of a promotional price reduction, you may apply for a goodwill store credit.

For qualifying purchases, BuildVolume may offer:

• A goodwill store credit equivalent to 50% of the promotional price difference or a maximum of R1,000.00 (including VAT), whichever amount is lower.

• Additional goodwill consideration in exceptional circumstances, subject to management approval.
   

3. ELIGIBILITY
 

To qualify for consideration:

1. Your printer must have been purchased and paid for within 72 hours before the promotion commenced.

2. The promotional item must be the identical printer model, configuration and SKU.

3. You must provide your original BuildVolume invoice or order number.

4. Your request must be submitted within seven calendar days after the promotion begins.

5. The purchase must be a qualifying standard retail transaction.
    

4. IMPORTANT CONDITIONS
 

• Promotional prices do not automatically apply retrospectively.

• Price protection is offered as a discretionary goodwill benefit and is not a guaranteed refund or price adjustment.

• Approved benefits are issued as BuildVolume store credit, not cash.

• Reseller, wholesale, bulk, negotiated-price, clearance and other excluded transactions do not ordinarily qualify.

• Credits cannot be combined with another price protection claim on the same transaction.

• All requests are subject to verification and approval by BuildVolume management.
   

5. HOW TO APPLY
 

Contact the BuildVolume branch where you purchased your printer or our customer support team.

Please provide your invoice or order number, printer model and details of the promotion.

Our team will review your request and advise whether a goodwill credit can be offered.
